As many of our readers will be gone for a long weekend, we thought we would spare you the long, educational update that we usually provide on Fridays and just take some time this afternoon to wish you all an enjoyable and safe holiday weekend.

The situation this Fourth of July has certainly changed a lot since last year, but we hope that you and your family can find a way to safely celebrate together; whether it be a family barbecue, enjoying fireworks, or sitting inside in the comfort of air conditioning.  Take some to enjoy being together while still remaining safely apart.

On a rather sad note, for those in Minnesota, it was announced this week that the annual MPELRA Summer Conference will be canceled due to our inability to safely hold a conference for all to enjoy.  Both Greg and Ben enjoy the annual pilgrimage to far away locations to enjoy the company of our colleagues and occasionally provide some training on labor and employment issues.  If you are missing out on your usual training component for yourself or your employees, feel free to contact us at the Wiley Law Office, where we’re happy to provide safe, in-person training, or virtual training to you and your organization.
